We clean the surrounding areas of wood-burning fireplaces — mantels, hearth surfaces, and nearby walls that collect soot and ash dust. We don’t clean inside the firebox itself (that’s a chimney sweep’s job), but we do address the residue that wood fires leave on nearby furniture, shelving, and floors.
